As a Freedom Advocate, i realized that i have become silent on the matter at hand. Often times detaching from real life issues to remain positive. There will always  be moments where whats happening before you may cloud judgment but ……KEEP FIGHTING.

... Life has a funny way of opening eyes and spreading the messages that were once being told through the mouths of people. Sometimes it takes #legacy to make those same things more effective. Don’t give up on what ever you stand for. Set out to do just what you believe. Don’t let your past or the very present deter you. There is ALWAYS someone listening and ready to carry those same values.

As for me, my message is #freedom by way of #faith. Having just a little bit of Faith will open your mind and heart to accomplish things that you once deemed intangible.

HIDDEN BEHIND A SMILE

I was so good! So good that I didn’t realize how much I was dying inside.

I had learned how to hide my depression so deep that I fooled myself most times.

Then when it seemed like things were starting to form a handle on them, that demon would show his face

Rock BOTTOM

I knew how to …

Smile.

Dress.

Accessorize

&

Model the Depression so that NO ONE would know (not even myself)

My hurt ….HIDDEN.

My hurt …. BURIED.

My hurt …. TOXIC

but all other people noticed was a smile.

“You’re always so happy” when in reality, the correct word to describe me is ‘BROKEN’.

One take away is that… It’s NEVER too late to take care of yourself.

I don’t profess that maintaining FREEDOM will be easy.

What I do know is, Maintaining Freedom is WORTH IT!

Don’t hide behind a smile.

Get to the root of the problem.

It’s ok to not be ok.

Seek Help.

Realign. Refocus. Remain Free.

Your Pain... Their Pleasure

They 'think' they know you based on who you used to be! 

People think that you can be broken down with:

Words... Reminders of your past... Where they feel you should be... or What they feel you should be doing

[Making Purposeful Inconveniences Just To Hinder You]

What the people won't realize is that:

you've Grown... you're Different... Unbothered & NOT Interested

Sometimes it's ok to be reminded.

Say "Thank You, I almost forgot how much I grew from that situation". Most things don't happen by chance.

Learn to grow from all 'misfortunes', consider them tests and turn them in to testimonies.

When the snakes can be pinpointed, you are already one step ahead. Assessment can be made on how to attack the situation. You know when to remain quiet, when to speak, when to duck and when to move.

Remember, this Freedom Experience is a Journey. Continue to make the conscious effort to

Once A Slave

I was once a slave to my own self.

My Thoughts

My Desires

My Heart

The things that I though I needed but were actually wants. Realizing none of it was good for me

People, places and things that I knew I had no business being connected to but yet I couldn't let go

Wishing upon a star when I should have been on my knees praying to God

Wind blowing one direction but the need to go against

Locked behind bars not even intended for me ..... with access to the key but couldn't figure out how to get FREE

I had to make a change. For the better. A Declaration to Think Free so that I could Be Free.

LET'S TALK FREEDOM!

WHAT IS FREEDOM?

When you search for the definition of Freedom via google, it is defined as the as "the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hinderance or restraint."

It also says  "the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved"

WHAT IS TRUE FREEDOM?

True FREEDOM is finding and living according to the purpose you were made for. 

Everyone was born with a purpose but you have to ask yourself. WHATS YOUR PLAN?

Are you living freely or in restraints? he biggest hinderance in living a free life is ones own mindset. We (humans) place limits on ourselves. We allow fear to take over and push in the opposite direction of the path paved for us. 

JOHN 8:36 -"Whom the Son sets free, is Free Indeed"

Becoming/ Feeling/ Wanting and Living Free is a JOURNEY.

You must declare Freedom everyday. You must make a conscious effort to not allow fear to keep you from the thing(s) you can't stop thinking/dreaming about.

You must put GOD 1st and allow your faith to guide you. If you lack faith, seek the face of God and ask him to direct your path.
